Four local student athletes made their college choices on early National Letter of Intent Signing Day.
Warren JFK's James Coates is heading to Happy Valley to play baseball at Penn State.
Meanwhile, a pair of softball standouts from Poland also made their choice. Bulldogs' pitcher Erin Gabriel is headed to the University of Tennessee, while teammate Jenna Modic is heading to Miami of Ohio. The teammates were both MyValleySports.com 2011 Diamond Kings winners.
And, last but not least, Ursuline's Courtney Powell will continue her basketball career at Memphis.
