Chartiers Valley jumped out to an early 2-0 in the top of the first inning, but Grove City came back in the bottom half, leading 3-2 after one.
Grove City was too much for Chartiers as the Eagles added two more runs in the bottom of the second inning to lead 5-2.
The Eagles hold on to win the game 6-3, advancing to the next round of the state playoffs.
