A seventh inning RBI-single by Burrell's Devon Doutt was enough to punch the Bucs' ticket to round two of the PIAA Class AA Baseball Tournament. Burrell's 6-5 win over Sharpsville paves the way to the quarterfinals where the Bucs will battle Mount Union.
The opening round contest marked Sharpsville's first state tournament appearance since 2006. The Blue Devils' loss drops their record to 15-6.
