Darrin Williams and Hayden Humes each contributed 11 points for UIC (7-15, 3-9 Horizon), with Williams grabbing 11 rebounds and Humes 10. The Flames owned a 40-27 edge on the boards.

All five starters for Youngstown State scored in double figures. Kendrick Perry, coming off a 30-point game at Milwaukee two nights ago, led the Penguins (12-10, 7-5) with 19 points. Ashen Ward scored 14, Blake Allen 12, DuShawn Brooks scored 11 and Damian Eargle had 10 for Youngstown, with Nate Perry's two free throws being the Penguins' only points off the bench.
