Struthers Girls Fall in Regional Final Game

Struthers girls were defeated by Hathaway Brown, 63-35, Friday during the Division II Regional Semifinals at Barberton High School.

The game was tied 7-7 at the end of the first quarter. Hathaway Brown pulled ahead in the second, leading 26-17 at the half.

Hathaway Brown opened the third quarter with a 16-0 run.   The Blazers led by Alanna Guy, 13; Tanisha Lawler, 12; and Molly Crosby, 10.

Helen-Marie Hird and Dana Mathews carried the Lady Cats with 14 and 13 points, respectively. Struthers ended its season with a 20-6 record.
