Mahoning Valley mustered only one run against Williamsport falling to the Crosscutters, 2-1. John Allman provided the offense in the fourth inning with a solo home run that bounced off the top of the right field wall and out of the park.  Allman's first home run of the season tied the game at 1-1.  Williamsport's Adam Buschini hit a solo home run in the top of the sixth to finish off the scoring.  The Crosscutters got on the board in the first inning when Jeremy Barnes hit a run scoring ground rule double to right field.   The Scrappers drop to 8-5.  Both teams meet again Thursday night at Eastwood Field.
