Over 26,000 votes have already been cast online in our Starting 5 contest, sponsored by Baird Brothers.

Here's just a few of the ladies that caught our attention last week...

Ali Gagne, from Lakeview, scored her 1,000th career point on Thursday. Gagne netted 24 in the win over Liberty.

Gagne wasn't the only one to reach a milestone. Two young ladies from Lowellville did the same.

Ashley Moore scored 19 on Monday for the Rockets to reach the 1,000-point plateau.

And her teammate Emily Carlson followed suit in the same game. She, too, reached 1,000 career points in this, her senior season.
