Howland High School is officially sending a pair of student-athletes to the Ivy League, after both signed their National Letters of Intent on Wednesday.
Dan Moody will play college football at Harvard, while girls' basketball standout Taylor Williams is heading to Princeton.
Moody started 34 games for the Tigers over three years and posts a 4.0 GPA in the classroom. The Ivy League is a family affair for Moody. He is the cousin of former Lakeview standout Ben Moody who chose to attend Cornell.
Moody also hopes to compete in Track & Field for the Crimson.
Willliams is considered a four-star recruit. The six-foot-three senior, Williams averages over 16 points and 13 rebounds a game. She already has well over 1,000 career points.
Williams official acceptance letter into Princeton came in December. She was also considering Yale, Miami (OH), Vanderbilt, Marist College, Pitt, and Lehigh University.
Princeton women's basketball has won the Ivy League Championship the previous two seasons (2009-10, 2010-11) earning an automatic berth into the NCAA tournament.
