Howland Holds off Highland

The Howland Tigers held off Medina Highland 28-21 in the Division II Regional Quarterfinals Friday night.  Senior Mike Mangiarelli led the way for the Tigers with 152 rushing yards and three touchdowns in the victory.  DeVeon Smith also came up big for Howland with 102 yards on 21 carries.  Late fourth quarter, Mangiarelli sealed the victory with an interception to send the Tigers to week twelve. 

Howland now advances to the Regional Semifinals.  The Tigers will meet Ashland who knocked off West Geauga 28-7.
