Local boxer Jake Giuriceo gives new meaning to the term hometown fighter. Fourteen of his 15 professional bouts have come within an hours drive of Youngstown. But next month, "The Bull" will have a fight far from home.

Giuriceo will travel to Orange County, California for his next bout; one that could lead to a promotional deal, which is something every pro fighter hopes to earn. He's going to fight a 30-year-old Mexican, Jaime Orrantia, who has 56 bouts on his resume. But the biggest challenge, may be becoming more marketable.

"We've basically been working on me getting back to being 'The Bull'," said Giuriceo. "Last year, I went into a lot of boxing technique and skill, and we feel like we have that. It's all coming natural now. So, we're trying to get back into just being aggressive and being that crowd-pleasing fighter."

Giuriceo will fight on March 10 at the Doubletree Hotel in Orange County.
