Girard had lost three consecutive home games before Tuesday's 57-51 win over Pymatuning Valley. Coach Nolan Cubelis' Indians registered a marquee victory tonight as they topped Lakeview, 61-56.

Since suffering through three straight losses after a 9-3 start, Lakeview had thought they had righted the ship following their previous two wins over Jefferson and Hubbard. However, the Bulldogs were dumped for the fourth time in six outings as they fall to 11-7 overall and 6-3 in the National Division.

Lakeview will welcome Howland on Tuesday. The Indians will travel to Campbell for a Friday night encounter.

In their first meeting of the year on January 13, Louie Novakovich scored 20 and hauled down 9 caroms as the Bulldogs prevailed, 66-59.
