The Falcons are making a strong push as the season is winding down. Winners of five of their last seven following tonight’s 66-59 victory over Howland, Fitch has matched their win total (9-8) during the course of their past three campaigns (9-54).

Dan Chepke led all scorers with 22 points, while Will Mahone netted 17 for the Falcons.  For Howland, Arbie Murray and John Weisman each scored 16 points.

Howland (7-3, 10-7) had won three of their last four prior to tonight’s loss. On January 13, the Tigers handed Fitch an 86-84 overtime loss.

Fitch welcomes the Dukes of Marlington on Tuesday as Howland will make the trek to Cortland to take on the Lakeview Bulldogs.
