The Golden Flashes upset top-seeded Warren JFK 2-1 in double overtime in the Division II Girls Soccer District Semifinal on Monday night. Champion advances with a 11-3-5 record, while Kennedy bows out with a 15-1-1 mark.
Marissa Walker scored the game winner off a direct kick. Teammate Hannah Day put the Flashes ahead in the second half with a goal.
The Eagles' lone goal came off the foot of Jerrica Cooper on a free kick.
