Canfield Boys Soccer Open Season with Victory

Canfield boys soccer opened their 2010 season with 5-0 victory over Austintown Fitch. 

PJ Stickle gave the Cardinals a 1-0 lead with an assisst from Julian Fusillo early in the first half.  Freshman Ronnie Mangie and senior Mike DeRose each added additional
goals before halftime.  An assisst by Steve Negley led to a second goal for PJ Stickle and junior Tony El-Hayek finished the scoring.

Canfield forced six saves from the Austintown goalkeepers while Canfield's Mike Thomas had three saves. Canfield had 14 shots on goal, while Fitch had five.
