Last Week: Boardman topped Wilson (DC) on Saturday afternoon, 34-12
Notes: Boardman won the first three meetings with Mooney. Last week, the Spartans outgained Wilson, 408-189. Boardman received a monster game from Devin Campbell. The junior running back ran for 96 yards and scored 2 touchdowns on the ground while catch two passes including a score through the air. Tyler Walls, who was injured in last year's meeting against Mooney, rushed for 69 yards in their opening win over the Tigers. First-year quarterback Trae Robinson threw for 72 yards and completed 53.3% of his passes.

Last Week: The Cardinals were impressive in their road win over Pickerington North, 31-14
Notes: Mooney registered their first victory over the Spartans in 1971 (4th meeting) by a score of 32-19. That was the beginning of a eight-game win streak over BHS (1971-78). The longest win streak in the history of the series. Last Friday, the Mooney rushing attack was impressive as the Cards outgained the Panthers on the ground by a count of 283-67. Mooney saw three rushers run for over 65 yards (Griffin 81, Scott 74, Leonelli 68). Quarterback Kevin McGuire scored twice, as well as, gaining 41 yards on the ground and 54 more through the air. However, this past week, McGuire injured himself in practice. Look for sophomore backup quarterback Courtney Love to receive the majority of the reps the rest of the week.
