Shane has put up big numbers in helping the Bulldogs earn the second playoff appearance in school history. The senior quarterback has thrown for 917 yards and ran for 1,000 yards while scoring 15 touchdowns in a 7-3 season.
As a junior, Peterson became the second player in team history to pass and run for over 1,000 yards in a season, earning a spot on the All-ITCL First Team. He also won a state title in the 4x100 relay at the State Track and Field Meet.
With a 4.8 GPA on a 5.0 scale, Shane ranks 11th in his class. He is a member of National Honor Society, is involved with a number of service groups, and serves as a camp counselor.
