With David hitting .380 from the leadoff spot, the Flashes advanced to the Regional Tournament for the first time in four years. He leads the team in stolen bases, and has been the starting centerfielder for the past three seasons. Palm also earned All District accolades all four years in soccer, finishing second in school history in goals scored.
David is a 4.0 student and valedictorian of his class. He is a National Merit Scholar finalist and a member of both National Honor Society and the Champion Academic Challenge team. Palm has earned a full academic scholarship to the University of Pittsburgh to study engineering.
