What is Student Athlete?

Student Athlete of the Week is the longest running franchise in Valley television, dating back to the mid-80's. Every Thursday during the school year, we feature an area athlete who excels in sports and, more importantly, the classroom.

If you know a high school athlete who's got game, and the grade point average to match, send in a nomination to bcastrovince@myvalleysports.com. Please include the student's name, school, sport, list of accomplishments, GPA, and a contact number for his/her head coach.

Watch MyValleySports.com on WYTV 33 every Thursday at 6 and 11PM to see who is the next Student Athlete of the Week.
