On Tuesday, the Washington Redskins released running back Marcus Mason. The former Penguin rushed for 19 yards on 6 carries for an average of 3.2 yards per tote. Mason appeared in three games this season. The third year runner from Youngstown State was cut to make room for another running back, Quinton Ganther. The former Utah Ute had previously played for the Tennessee Titans.
