MILWAUKEE (AP) - Kendrick Perry scored 30 points and Youngstown State defeated Milwaukee 73-65 Tuesday night. Perry was 9 of 16 from the floor, including 4 of 8 from 3-point range.
Damian Eargle and DuShawn Brooks scored 14 points each for the Penguins (12-9, 7-4 Horizon), who completed a sweep of their Horizon League rivals. Youngstown State won 68-66 at home on Jan. 20.
This time, the Penguins led 35-28 at halftime and led by as many as 18 points in the second half. Kaylon Williams had 17 points for the Panthers (14-10, 7-5), and contributed five assists and six rebounds.
Kyle Kelm had 12 points and five rebounds and Tony Meier added 10 points for the Panthers. Milwaukee held a brief lead at 18-17, but that was all as it lost for just the third time at home in 13 games this season.
Youngstown State returns to action Thursday night when it battles UIC.
