When he was hired, YSU head football coach Eric Wolford said he would make it a priority to recruit local football talent. He has now added another local player to the roster.

Sources tell MyValleySports.com that Cardinal Mooney's Austin Trgovcich has committed to play for the Penguins. He chooses YSU over North Texas and several other football programs. The 290-pounder was a first-team All State selection, anchoring a line that rushed for over 246 yards per game.

Trgovcich was also one of our 5 Blocks of Granite winners.
