Notes: The Bears advanced to two FCS playoffs (1989 and 1990). Three-time All-Gateway selection, tight end Brad St. Louis, has made a nice career for himself in the NFL. He has been primarily used as the Bengals long snapper since being drafted in the 7th round of the 2000 Draft…Guard Jason Whittle was an 11-year veteran of the NFL. Whittle started in each game for the New York Giants in 2004 at left guard. Possibly the most famous Missouri State athlete is Ryan Howard - Phillies first baseman.
