The 25-5 San Jacinto College men's basketball team earned the number three seed in the 2010 NJCAA Region XIV Basketball Tournament. The first game of the tournament tips off tomorrow at the University of Texas - Tyler's Herrington Patriot Center.
The Ravens have a bye into the quarterfinals where they will face the winner of Angelina and Lee on Saturday. The Region Championship will be played on Monday, March 6 at eight o'clock.
The Farrell High School product and San Jac standout Marsell Holden is second on the team in scoring (14.0 ppg). The freshman guard is shooting 41.6% from behind the three-point arc and tops the team in free throw shooting at a 90.2% rate.
