Thiel College track and field runner, Alex Eaton (Erie, Pa./Cathedral Prep.), advanced to the finals of the men's 400-meter dash at the Division III Indoor National Championships on Friday.

Even though the Erie, Pa. native placed third in his opening round heat, his time of 49.15 ranked as the fourth fastest time of the day and was good enough to propel him into Saturday's final.

The final round of the 400-meter dash will begin Saturday, March 13 at 2:55 p.m.

Thiel College athlete, Brittany Brown (Pelham, N.Y./Pelham Memorial), will begin her quest for all-America status when the women's pentathlon starts at 9:00 a.m. on Saturday.
