Marshall at #2 Ohio State (Thursday, 7:30 p.m.)
Junior Kellen Harris leads Marshall's defense into Columbus to take on the second-ranked Buckeyes. Harris, who started all thirteen games a year ago at middle linebacker, hails from Sharon where he was a phenomenal wrestler and linebacker for the Tigers. A year ago, the two-year letter winner finished with 71 tackles on the year. Ohio State begins its' 121st season of football. The Buckeyes have two area starters in tailback Dan Herron (junior) and defensive tackle John Simon (sophomore). Boom Herron, a Warren Harding graduate, rushed for 600 yards and scored a team high 7 touchdowns on the ground. Simon, a former Cardinal Mooney Cardinal, collected 1.5 quarterback sacks a year ago as a true freshman. Redshirt freshman Corey Linsley (Boardman) is scheduled to backup Mike Brewster at the center position.

#15 Pittsburgh at Utah (Thursday, 8:30 p.m.)
The Panthers begin the season on the road for the first time since 1993. The Utes have met Pitt once before in the 2005 Fiesta Bowl where the Utes prevailed 35-7. Redshirt freshman, Cory King, is set on the depth chart to back up Lucas Nix at right tackle. King was a four-year starter for Coach Dan York's Lakeview Sailors.

Last fall, Johnson-Koulianos caught 45 passes for 750 yards.

The Mountaineers have registered a record of 62-16 in their last seventy-eight regular season contests. West Virginia kicks off their thirty-first season at Mountaineer Field at Milan Puskar Stadium when the Chanticleers come calling. Senior Sidney Glover will play a huge role this year as the team's starting strong safety. The former Harding Raider accounted for 60 tackles, 2 picks and 1.5 quarterback sacks in 2009.
