COLUMBUS, Ohio (AP) - Urban Meyer says he feels as good as he has in many, many years after assembling his coaching staff and making his first inroads to recruiting as Ohio State's new head coach.
Meyer, who stepped down briefly at Florida in 2009 and then for a year after the 2010 season, is anxious to coach again after being out of the profession for a year while serving as a TV analyst.
Ohio State officially announced the last two members of his staff on Thursday, both of whom were assistants at Notre Dame last season: co-offensive coordinator and line coach Ed Warinner and tight ends and fullbacks coach Tim Hinton.
The Buckeyes began conditioning workouts on Monday, earlier than was originally planned.
