COLUMBUS (AP) - Urban Meyer clearly brought his recruiting magic with him to Ohio State.

Despite a 2012 bowl ban, NCAA probation and recruiting
limitations, the forced resignation of Jim Tressel and the most losses (seven) for the Buckeyes since 1897, Meyer's first recruiting class announced on Wednesday ranked among the top five in the country.

Meyer signed 25 recruits on Wednesday including several top defensive linemen.

Recruiting experts heralded Meyer's work since he took over the job in late November. The Buckeyes stole several players who had committed elsewhere and closed the deal on several other top candidates.
