Popo Salinas scored a first-round TKO over Lanell Briggs, recording another victory at the 4th annual Bob Roth Memorial boxing card.

At 16 years old, Popo will enter the 2012 season as the number one ranked amateur in the country in his weight class after winning the PAL title in October.

In other action on the 10-fight card, Vic Toney defeated Russell Scott (Cleveland) by way of decision, while Ali-Abu Ghannan fell to Romeo Rodriguez (Cleveland) by decision.

A total of ten fights were on the card at St. Lucy's in Campbell.
