The Destruction on the Diamond fight card will take place at Cene Park on Saturday, August 13. There are eleven scheduled fights taking place outside under the stars.

Giuriceo looks to improve on his (12-0-1) record as he prepares for his next bout August 13. "The Bull" defeated Winston Mathis in a 10-round bout July 1 outside of the Covelli Centre. This fight is just seven weeks after his bout with Mathis, which he won by decision. For the past three fights Giuriceo's been training with Frank Duarte in California and plans to head back to train in the coming days.

"We just want to stay active, keep moving forward, keep trying to learn and try to keep getting better. We're jumping right back in it, ready to go," Giuriceo said.

Chris Koval (24-6), another Youngstown native, is stepping in the ring for only the fifth time in the past five years. Koval spent much of his career fighting overseas in Europe, being the underdog. He is set to fight Paul Parker, as the hometown favorite.

"Europe, wherever I was, I wasn't the guy being cheered for. I was the guy being cheered against; the opponent so to speak. It's definitely exciting to get back out there, and hopefully show everybody that I still got it," Koval said.

Although Nicholas Firtha (19-8-1) is not a native to the area, he's from Akron and is training in Warren. Firtha last fought in December of 2010 in Germany against the number-four heavyweight in the world, Alexander Povetkin. The fight went ten rounds and Povetkin won by decision. Fighting against some of the top heavyweight competition has prepared the boxer-turned-puncher for any challenges in the ring.

"Bottom line is it's all about banging someone up, and taking them out. And, what I like to say, when they get in the ring with me, they're going to do hard time, so it doesn't matter who it is, they're going to do hard time when they get in the ring with me," said Firtha.

Also scheduled on the card: Aaron Dufour (3-1), Derrik Moss (1-0), Wilkins Santiago (3-0), and Mary McGee (17-1) and the WBC Champion.
