Ryan Allison has been at WKBN-TV since July of 1998. He joined the First News Sports Department in October of 2001, and now serves as the Sports Director for WKBN, WYFX, and WYTV.  Ryan has been with myvalleysports.com since its launch in 2008.

Allison was born in Warren, Ohio and graduated from Howland High School in 1995. He earned his Bachelor of Arts Degree in Telecommunications from Youngstown State University in 1999.

Allison currently resides in Howland with wife, Nicole, and two sons, Owen and Arran. He is an avid boxing fan and spends his free time golfing and coaching his kid's soccer team. His favorite part of the job is covering High School Football, Youngstown State, and Kelly Pavilk fights across the country.

Hey Ryan no love for Chuck Gruber from cardinal mooney in the big 22? He's one of the best linebackers in the state in division 3 let alone the area. He was 1st team all neo last year and honorable mention for all state as a junior, that has to say something. He has been all over the field this year and believe you should put him in the big 22 voting

good-morning ryan (high school schedules)i see ursuline irish play a game on 9/5 at pittsburgh catholic central 2sd week, but the fifth week i see the teams urusline vs champion on 9/25 but girard play champion on 9/25, WHO PLAY URSULINE THAT WEEK THANKS? RON

Why no coverage of Lisbon's Vincent Browne who is opening eyes as a red shirt freshman and will be a starter as a sophomore. Tons of accolades already but nothing on this site? 6'5" - 270 - 4.70 40 yard dash.
