They didn't get very many hits, but they got enough to win.

The Scrappers got their only two hits of the game in back to back at-bats for all the runs they needed in a 3-0 win over the Crosscutters Friday at Eastwood Field.

Kyle Bellows broke up the no-hit bid with an RBI double in the bottom of the fifth inning, scoring John Allman for the game's first run.  Tim Palincsar followed with a run scoring single to make it 2-0.  Bellows also scored in the seventh on an RBI groundout.

Marty Popham picked up his first win of the season, allowing three hits over six shutout innings.  He struck out six.

The Scrappers (9-6) hit the road for Jamestown Saturday.
